Chitra's Closet parade: spring racing inspiration

As the Melbourne spring racing carnival still carries on with Emirates stakes day to come, Chitra's Closet shows us some fine examples of hats and dresses that could be worn to such an event.

Chitra's "Stupendous Spring Soiree" was presented recently at the Penny Black in Brunswick - a unique and quirky runway show that didn't disappoint. Dresses in the show were colourful and feminine, and millinery designs featured flowers, feathers and bows. Checked shorts and pants were also provided as an alternative for those who prefer to go to the races in something a little different.
