Christian Dior: Cruise 2010 Collection

Though the styling of hair and makeup don't at all grab me, the elegance of Dior's Cruise 2010 collection is undeniable. Multi-strand pearl necklaces add glamour to 50s-inspired suiting and soft evening gowns. Alas, the modern injection of leopard print ruins what I feel is an otherwise attractive lilac ensemble; similarly the leopard accessories are nothing new.

Where the animal prints fail, the vintage-inspired dresses make the collection worth a look.

There aren't too many alpha-females out there and, though she might deny it, Tania Braukamper certainly exudes their qualities. A keen eye, a focused approach, and a wardrobe spanning three rooms have made her one of the savviest of dressers.
