Clive Owen, ever the man’s man, dons one of autumn / winter’s least indulged in trends, men’s velvet, for the GQ awards recently held in Madrid. A subdued look when paired against grey wool trousers and over a black tie, it’s a look perfect for evenings but one that doesn’t prevent Owen from standing out.

And stand out he did, with Jezebel remarking that Owen is a picture of Christmas come early.
