There’s plenty to say about this shoot of Swedish model Misse. There’s the striking black and white photography by Niklas Hoejlund that needs no colour, no backdrop, no props to make it stand out. There’s the highly accessorised and youthful styling by Kristine Wold; the flawlessly applied makeup by Louise Polano.
But the thing I can’t get beyond, the one factor that reaches out and captures one’s attention beyond all else, is how much Misse’s look is a living memory of a young Cindy Crawford. The full, tousled dark hair, the deep eyes, and yes, the signature beauty spot.
Not that I doubt she gets told that all the time.
