Daria Werbowy: girl overboard

Update: outtakes from Daria’s shoot for T Magazine have now been added to the gallery – you can view them all after the jump.

Daria Werbowy‘s most captivating quality is that she never looks to have a care in the world. She’s that tomboy cool that’s perfectly at home in jeans and no shoes, but that scrubs up to impeccable glamorous beauty when the occasion calls for it. In her element once again (didn’t I say last beach shoot that Daria has modelling down to a lifestyle art?), this time in St. Barts, Daria does what Daria does best: sails.

“Sailing is the closest I can get to nature – it’s adrenaline, fear, a constant challenge and learning experience, an adventure into the unknown,” she says. “And of course there is nothing better than wearing the same T-shirt for days and not brushing my hair for weeks.” With that, Werbowy jumps into the ocean in all her clothes.

Girl Overboard was photographed by Cass Bird for T Magazine. Head there to read the full story.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
