Daria: back to the beach

Even in her most stellar days of being in the top 10 highest paid models in the world, Daria Werbowy always had other plans and dreams. In interviews she’d mention how modelling was never her life’s ambition – yet the modelling world never really wanted to let her leave it, and unsurprisingly still doesn’t. She’s no longer living the busy life of being on dozens of catwalks and covers, but still keeps more than one toe in the fashion universe, still bringing her effortless style to magazine pages when she chooses. This time its a shoot for Madame Figaro with beaches, crystal clear water, crochet monokinis, and some beauty inspiration for bold turquoise eyeshadow on sunkissed skin.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
