A tree-lined catwalk set the scene for Wednesday night’s David Jones Autumn/Winter collections launch. Titled ‘A Japanese Story’, the parade showcased top Australian designers from Sass & Bide through to the likes of Collette Dinnigan and Akira.
Model and long-time face of David Jones Megan Gale bade an emotional yet gracious farewell to the David Jones runway – accepting a bunch of flowers while a flutter of “snow” rained down gently at the end of the runway.
