There’s cowgirl; then there’s Derek Lam‘s refined, super-chic and cool as ice Western take for Fall 2010, which is something else all together.

As it should be for any urban cowgirl, leather was the foundation of the collection. Pieces were slimly cut; uncomplicated; fringed. Boots, belts (those rams-head details!) and bags are sure to be big sellers for Lam.
