For Kelly Defina‘s test shoot of Volta Models’ fresh face Steph, it was immediately obvious which feature the shots should play to: her hair. With a cascade of long hair like a modern-day Lady Godiva, how could any photographer resist the endless opportunities for movement; for suspending in time those shifting strands?
That curtain of long locks coupled with Defina’s shadowy photography gives the whole shoot an air of mystery, while Steph’s ability to pose fluidly and naturally takes the elegantly simple black and white swimwear concept to another level.
