Fallen Goddesses in S (video)

There are plenty of reasons for turning to mythology when looking for a theme for a sensual photo shoot or fashion film. For starters there’s the association with Greek mythology and Dionysian pursuits of pleasure; then there’s the fact that we imagine Gods and Goddesses to be not just powerful but also the pinnacles of physical perfection. So when all’s said and done, it’s no wonder the likes of Karl Lagerfeld for Pirreli dabble in the space where nudity, eroticism and mythology overlap.

For S Magazine’s Danish branch a video starring Loris Kraemerh and Ives Kolling takes the title Fallen Goddess, and without knowing anything else about it, one can imagine a Norse mythology to our twin blonde Goddesses. Backed by the moody sax of Air’s Playground Love, it’s a dreamy yet sensual film indeed.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
