The tux returns

Seemingly the resurgence of wide leg pants has brought with it a renewed interest in masculine tuxedo dressing. That’s not surprising; the two make for a beautiful wedding, every time. And unlike the slick, skinny takes on the trend we saw back in 2008 (which was largely about the tuxedo jacket) this time it’s the shape, the silhouette, the 70s influence; like you just stepped out of Helmut Newton’s black and white photo of Le Smoking and into 2011.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself.
