I want to look at this full shoot of Dorothea Barth Jorgensen, because it looks like there are lots of pretty fairytale dresses in it; the only trouble is I’m completely stuck on the styling of this one scene. See the truth is I’m passionately flip-flop adverse. There’s one place flip-flops should be worn and that’s the beach. I’m hoping Dorothea is at a public pool as it seems from some of the shots, then Lucinda Chambers‘ styling choice might hold up. The Gaultier jacket is definitely awesome so perhaps that also helps to cancel out the suspicious choice of footwear?

Still if you’re after A Life Less Ordinary, as this shoot is so titled, maybe flip-flops aren’t the best place to start.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
