Forever New: Exotic Goddess, Spring 2009

Aptly titled 'Exotic Goddess', the latest collection from high-street brand Forever New was a colourful foray into Grecian draping, tropical prints, and exotic statement jewellery. Floor-length maxi dresses came in a variety of styles; while tiny body-con dresses in multicolour stripes will be the cocktail wear of many a young pretty thing this Spring.
While some of the bandage dresses didn't manage to rival the perfect snugness and smooth lines of their Herve Leger ancestors, the flowing pieces fit like a dream. The bold accessories - from jewellery to belts to gloves - are great for an instant and affordable wardrobe update. For those on a budget or simply looking for some short-term trend pieces, a trip to Forever New will be more than worthwhile.
