In the historic surrounds of Melbourne’s GPO, spectators gathered under the sweeping stone archways for two parades of looks from the shopping space’s retailers. A plethora of brands participated; from the whimsical looks of Acne and the graphic prints of Alexi Freeman, to the sharp menswear of AG and Ben Sherman.
Guests were treated to delicate samplings of Cacao Fine Chocolates (always a plus at GPO’s shows) and Deakin Estate piccolo. More pictures from the shows can be found at the gallery below. Other labels pictured include Akira, Alpha60, Belinda, Gorman, Leona Edmiston, LIFEwithBIRD, Lisa Ho, Manning Cartell, nicolangela, Wayne Cooper, Baccini & Hill, and Karen Millen.
The shows were part of the 2010 L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF).
