With so many of their lead models unable to walk in next month’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2009 you can expect a number of fresh Angels on the catwalk. But don’t translate that to mean that the models whose career are largely a result of their ‘Angel’ status definitely won’t be making an appearance. While Adriana Lima is rumoured to be involved in the forthcoming show in some manner, model Heidi Klum has been confirmed as the show’s host.
It’s official: Heidi Klum is returning to the runway just 6 weeks after giving birth to baby Lou Samuel – as host of the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show on 19 November.
“Heidi is superwoman. She had a baby a few weeks ago and she is hosting the most high profile fashion show in the world,” Ed Razek, President and Chief Marketing Officer of VS tells People. “Victoria’s Secret is thrilled to have her back. There is no one like her.”
