Beautifully shot in black and white, Alasdair McLellan’s campaign for Emporio Armani spring 2012 gives every strand of hair, every freckle, every texture of fabric the attention it deserves. But the true romance comes from the locale, Hong Kong, with the fashion house themselves even giving a nod that, yes, the city “with its harmonic and energetic mix of past and future, is the movie’s true protagonist”.
In the timeless surrounds of the city, fragments of a story featuring Tao Okamoto, Kendra Spears and Florian Van Bael unfurl.
