Isabeli Fontana: tribal for Vogue Paris

The tribal trend is evolving; and in 2010 will be back on the radar in new forms. But more on that soon: for now, it’s still being seen in editorials, this time in Vogue Paris’ November 2009 issue. Featuring Isabeli Fontana and expertly styled by Carine Roitfeld, this shoot takes the tribal elements to the extreme with body painting, African-inspired jewellery, and feathered headpieces.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals.
