Katy Perry: lingerie and thigh highs

Perusing pictures from the event, one might be forgiven for thinking that the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards had little to do with music and more to do with fashion trends. After all, both Beyonce and Katy Perry took to the stage in Berlin donning 2009′s and 2010′s underwear as outerwear trend. Perry even found time to don a pair of lace-up, over the knee boots. And to sing some songs, seemingly.
