Lacoste's Lethal Tennis

Lacoste's latest ad campaign asks a question, one which is in fact dear to my heart. The question is "what will Tennis be like 2083?" The answer of course is that it looks extremely dangerous but cool, with a mix of some kind of lightsaber racket, body armour, heads up display and a pair of shoes I would definitely not be saying no to.

Oh and instead of an opponent you have some kind of crazy wall that tell you how fast your hit was (I hope it does metric measurements too) and launch the ball back at you at what seems to be crazily astronomical speeds, why else would you need the body armour? In fact the need for body armour may scare me away from ever playing Tennis again.

You may want to check out the rest of the campaign shots in our forum or just after the jump.

PS: I lied, it's really not that close to my heart.

It's left to Allan to bring the street look to Fashionising.com. It's simply his scene, and, let's face it, his tastes in high-top Nikes will never be shared by the rest of us. Marrying colourful bright colours with awfully tight skinny jeans has become a trademark look for him, and shows the true nature of fashion trend divergence we're always blogging about. Always beating the pavements of some inner-city hub look to Allan for upcoming street trends that may end up mainstream sooner then you think.

He says: Beware of neon.
We say: Why do you wear it then?
