She’s dressed up as a nun, yet Lara Stone looks anything but innocent. In fact, sometimes wearing more can be just as sensual as wearing less.
It’s an ever recurring theme – good versus evil, right versus wrong – and photographer Cedric Buchet know how to get some striking shots of the model, who convincingly grapples with the temptation of diamonds (or ‘La Tentation du Diamant’, as is the French title of the shoot).
Against the plain white of the habit Lara wears, the statement jewellery styled by Carine Roitfeld is all the more striking. And if you’re wondering what it is that makes Lara look so different in these shots, it’s the darkening of her trademark blonde eyebrows, which gives her an all together different look.
