True to our word, the exposed midriff trend hasn’t become a mainstream staple off the catwalk, most being too body-conscious to venture that far just yet. But as we delve deeper into 2009, the trend is starting to get more of an airing – most recently on Lindsay Lohan who was snapped out partying in this little cropped top.
While we don’t doubt that Lindsay has the stomach – or the confidence – to pull off the crop-top look, the way the top sits on her is not the most flattering. Busty girls take heed – you’re better off with slightly more fitted cut-off tops to prevent them sitting out too far.
