Like Bizet’s fiery heroine of the eponymous Opera, Timmothy Lee‘s Carmen is wrapped in drama.
But while subtle bohemian influences there may be – some swirling ruffles here, a flowing tiger-lilly print there – this Carmen is not the tempestuous gypsy of Bizet’s Romantic Era world. She’s a modern version; styled by Annie Bao for today’s take on mesmerising beauty and sartorial drama.
Originally published in Beaux magazine, but here with the addition of some outtakes, the richly photographed editorial features model Jennifer Steele.
