Providing an alternative to the notion that ‘blondes have all the fun’ comes this pictorial with model Luisa Bianchin as the host of the party. With her mahogany locks, smoky eyes and an all-occasion wardrobe, she’s leading a rather affluent lifestyle for the young woman that she is.
Snapped by photographer Hicham Riad, Bianchin’s clashing red hair and Riad’s eclectic photography uniformly sew together this pictorial first printed in the March 2012 issue of Elle Belgium.
It only seems fair to mention the shoot’s quirky styling, with silky sheer kaftans, chunky knits, knife-pleated skirts and glittery accessories encircling the perimeters of the studio shoot. However, despite the daring foresight of the styling, this is one of those shoots where the subject is a bigger asset than the fashion before the camera’s lens.
Bianchin’s cheeky grin and investigative personality directs the gaze to her being the star of the show, and then it analyses the drapery around her body.
Call it the magic of red hair or the photographer’s vision to let the locks dominate the shoot; these bold images are a benchmark for you to experiment with your biggest asset – an asset that needn’t be amongst the cliche options.
