Lydia Hearst for Playboy France; November 2008

Written by Daniel P Dykes

You have to hand it to Playboy France: while its US counterpart continues its slide into the realm of utter tackiness, the French edition keeps coming up with the goods.

First there was Karl Largerfeld's photoshoot for the magazine, one soon followed up by Anouck Lepere's spread (no pun intended). It was, however, Lily Cole's nude shoot that proved without a doubt that Playboy France wants to be seen more as a fashion title then a top-shelf, men's magazine.

And the November 2008 edition is no different. Their centrefold? Model Lydia Hearst.

Playboy France isn't Hearst's first encounter with the ever blurring line between fashion and nudity; she also featured in a shoot for Myla Lingerie and has walked down the catwalk in next-to-nothing.
