Melbourne Street Style: Caulfield Cup 2009

Miranda Kerr and her Alex Perry dress may have turned plenty of heads at Saturday's Caulfield Cup, but the dozens of other fashionable race-goers didn't escape our attention. The David Jones marquee was shared by celebrities, sports stars, fashion designers and corporate head honchos alike. We snapped shots of the social scene throughout the day.
From Sarah-Jane Clarke's over the knee boots to the Gucci to-die-for triple-strap heel, the outfits were not necissarily traditional, but great none the less.

There aren't too many alpha-females out there and, though she might deny it, Tania Braukamper certainly exudes their qualities. A keen eye, a focused approach, and a wardrobe spanning three rooms have made her one of the savviest of dressers. But it's not all couture for Tania, earning her fashionista credentials she'll frequently be seen on the town in a one-off, vintage dress and a pair of Gucci heels.
