Michael Kors sets hearts racing for Fall 2010

Dear Michael Kors: simply putting Abbey Lee Kershaw on your runway would have been enough to make my heart (and many others) go bumpety-bump. But going to the added effort of putting her in a pair of undies, a low v-neck jumper, knee-high socks and slouchy suede boots – that was just plain cruel.

Abbey Lee Kershaw for Michael Kors Fall 2010

Sporting some of the hottest and warmest Fall 2010 looks New York Fashion Week has seen so far, Kors’ runway of cosy knits, full furs, and glittering sequins had at times the country elegance one would expect from Ralph Lauren, and at times the luxury sportiness that’s so on trend for 2010.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
