For most it would seem that pregnancy and fashion don’t always go hand in hand. With any luck, however, the fashion industry will take the fact that the likes of Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes are pregnant and promote just how chic women can remain. Unsurprisingly, the media have already taken the right lead: W magazine have photographed a radiantly pregnant Miranda for their December 2010 Family Values feature.

With any luck this shan’t be the last we see of a pregnant Miranda: rumours of other shoots including those, most importantly, aimed at pushing the envelope of ‘pregnancy chic’ abound.

For her pregnancy portrait for W magazine Miranda Kerr was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier and styled by Alex White. You can see more of W’s Family Values feature by following the link.

Its a an awesome picture, stop being sooo judgemental and see that it shows the absolutely beautiful natural side of pregnancy, its not a time of being a prude but of embrassing the gift you've been given and loving the new curves that your body has embraced

I think people should stop bitching about her being nude. She's at the age to where she can do what she wants and I'm quite sure her father supports her decisions. Seriously, you sound like a damn kid, get over it. Are you really that immature, that when you see yourself naked you go "Eww that's gross". We're women, we have the same body parts. And the sad thing is I'm only 16 and I'm not even doing that.
I think this is an amazing photograph. It shows the real beauty of pregnancy.

Late one Oxford night Daniel P Dykes set about creating a fashion publication that would go someway to being an arbiter on fashion as it appeals to the emerging power generations: those who don't remember a world without the Internet and for whom work plays second fiddle to pleasure. And so Fashionising.com was born as a publication for those who were focussed not just on fashion's trends, but on society's too, and how those trends could all go to heighten the art of living. Hence, Daniel sees a future where, for those young at heart, both fashion and style are grounded in traditional quality, but with a youthful, sensualised edge. Daniel is Fashionising.com's Editor in Chief and Chairman.
