Kiki De Montparnasse lingerie and a 1946 Harley Davidson is a combo worth rebelling for. New quarterly publication, JACQUES Magazine, channels modern erotica through aesthetically appealing sets in which the girls embody high fashion ideas and leave the "girl-next-door" look sitting on the curb wondering what happened to her has-been appeal. Whatever happened to first-class elegance in the erotica industry? Well it's coming back, and I think we can all agree it's for the better.
Enhanced by the nostalgia of feeling young, free, and dangerous (and all the while doing it with a rosy hue), the pictured model, Carrie, radiates the feeling of the good ole' days; pre-technology and before the sex industry became unappealing. Her purple chiffon scarf not only holds her hair in place, but the understanding that this takes place during a time of longing and a need for passion.
In the 1940's, the world was at war and many women were left yearning for their love to return home... only some of them never did. Therefore, our hearts break just a little when admiring this new spread. Lounging around in the sunshine in beautiful lingerie leaves us thinking one thing... how can someone so far from beauty not come home to something so picturesque and free. JACQUES Magazine seems to have an understanding of what the world needs when it comes to high fashion and artistic allure; and I have a feeling it's only going to get more irresistible from here.
