Perfectly cuffed, vintage inspiration

With aviation still bearing heavily on my mind after’s whirlwind global fashion week escapades this photo of Constance Moore was too wonderful to pass up. Perched atop the rear-wing of an B-18 bomber Contance’s crisp shirt perfectly cuffed gives a hint of implied masculinity jibing perfectly with her role as the girl photographer in 1941′s “I Wanted Wings”, in which she is a love interest alongside Veronica Lake’s sultry blonde.

A tip of the hat to x planes for the image.
