With aviation still bearing heavily on my mind after Fashionising.com’s whirlwind global fashion week escapades this photo of Constance Moore was too wonderful to pass up. Perched atop the rear-wing of an B-18 bomber Contance’s crisp shirt perfectly cuffed gives a hint of implied masculinity jibing perfectly with her role as the girl photographer in 1941′s “I Wanted Wings”, in which she is a love interest alongside Veronica Lake’s sultry blonde.

A tip of the hat to x planes for the image.
