Romance on the Aegean sea

This is the kind of story that doesn’t have to have a happy ending. In fact, the mood is such that you can imagine a deep yet tumultuous romance that was great while it lasted but that ended with the fading of the Aegean summer. Like flicking through an album filled with memories that are twice as sweet because they’ll never, ever be repeated; like gazing down a cinematic lens at the bittersweet fickleness of love and knowing that nothing lasts forever.

Such is the emotion that Dree Hemingway and Jon Kortejarena bring to this beautifully shot editorial, at times brooding and pensive, at times soaking up the gloriousness of youth and life. And it’s the kind of shoot where that mood strikes you long before the clothing does, and twice as hard.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
