When we first wrote about the double denim fashion trend back in 2009 we had hoped that the 1980′s throwback would die a quick death. This unfortunately has not been the case. This faux pas seems to be increasingly growing in strength appearing in both fashion pictorials and street style guises.
May’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar Spain features a shoot which is just such one offender, photographed by Xevi Muntane and featuring the gorgeous Sessilee Lopez in a shoot concentrating on denim. It features denim shorts, dresses, denim cut offs and the evocative sensualist poses which have become de rigueur in current shoots. Though it does offend with this one outfit.
We by no means want to be completely negative regarding this shoot as the slicked back hair is a perfect incarnation of the 2010 hair trend.
