Fashion pictorials are often about the fantasy of fashion. This shoot by Ellen von Unwerth however is firmly rooted in the fantasy of a land far far away. Featuring Emma Dumont (winner of Ford Models model search competition) & styled by Nicola Formichetti who brings his signature Lady GaGa vibe to the look of the shoot.
Being the terrible cynics we are, we can’t shake the thought that this is a shallowly disguised promotion for the new Shrek movie out May 21st. We don’t really mind though; the shoot itself is very cute and features some of our favourite 2010 fashion trends incorporating over the knee boots, lingerie as outerwear & of course leather clothing on Shrek. Don’t forget he has a movie coming out May 21st!
One last thing, look out for Shrek’s expression in the third shot. It’s a little bit scary. Oh and did we mention that there is a new Shrek movie coming out May 21st? It’s 3D you should watch it.
