I can’t find much not to like about this outfit. The charcoal over the knee socks are simple and elegantly paired with black wedges (and the heels are not too high); the skirt is short but not tight (a tight mini may have been overkill with the socks); and the homemade head wrap is more grown-up than the bow headband trend. Having the figure for it all certainly helps too.

I haven't try it on, 'cause i have been thinking that it's too school for me. Now I see that I can work it out without looking like a schoolgirl from England. I'm going to shop today with my friend so I think I might buy one pair of over the knee socks. :)

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
