Gucci may have carried the flag for brightly coloured fur on the fall 2011 runways, but there was little place for the brand in Vogue Japan’s similarly styled shoot for their August issue. Instead stylist Satoshi Hirota emulated the 40s-noir-meets-70s-glam feel in rich tones of blue, royal purple and magenta, with accessories to match.
