Fashion week is the best time of the year for fashion fanatics. The expectations hit the roof and city streets sway to the sweet melody of upbeat styling. It’s not just magazine editors and designers who flaunt the best, models too pull out their finest threads when taking a break off the runway.

We’re loving Valerija Sestic in this sporty and relaxed attire, which she wore while off duty at New York fashion week. She has adopted a quirky way of teaming a faded denim shirt with a Roberto Cavalli blazer and bandaged-style skirt by BCBG Max Azria. The lace-up boots with, what seem like, comfortable heels dust off the look.

If denim isn’t acknowledged in New York City (where it all started), then where else would its value be weighed? I refuse to answer that rhetorical question.

Tastefully snapped by Citizen Couture.
