A sheer boyfriend shirt buttoned so loosely that her bra is more than a little obvious. Revealing enough? Of course not. Why not mix in bed hair, exposed underwear and suspenders. There you have it: a 100% sexualised look, leaving little to the imagination. On a 16 year old.

Taylor Momsen, are you old enough?

We've known for some time that the actress cum singer is intent on pushing boundaries, so much so that, at times, her Gossip Girl character can even seem like a wallflower in comparison.

Call me a prude, but it strikes me that, at 16, Momsen is simply too young for this look? Yes, all the pieces are bang on trend (or, at least, common such as the boyfriend shirt) but I can't help but think that 16 year olds simply shouldn't take to the streets, or to the stage, wearing not much more than their smalls. To further drive home the simple need to tone down the look, Monsen's look from the same evening, where her boyfriend shirt was toned down with a black jacket, seems comparatively demure.

At least, as the adage tells us, she'll be fine if she was hit by a bus. But the way she seems intent on portraying herself, one can't be sure that Taylor Momsen's mother gave her any advice at all.
