Since Sass & Bide exploded onto the scene ten odd years ago the design due have sharpened and refined their signature style to near perfection. Always bold, quirky, and with a certain toughness, their own brand of tribal is always at the heart of each collection. Autumn / Fall 2010 is a smooth continuation of the black and gold exoticness that was Sass & Bide Spring 2010 – but with the addition of graphic prints, mesh fabrics, and bold black and white stripes.

The future warrior trend references are still present only in more subtle and sophisticated metal-plated harnesses and feathered collars.

Meanwhile – that hair! Vintage inspired yet distinctly modern with it’s metal headpieces, there’s a Bladerunner-esque futurism about it all.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals.
