The kind of sexy you can throw together

Treats! magazine may be all about the sensual, but it’s not all about glamour. Not of the obvious kind, anyway. Despite sticking to a niche in terms of where its content sits on the unabashed sensuality scale, Treats’ visual content varies greatly. Issue 2 gives us everything from the erotically vintage to bright, glossy nudity to the soft and subtle.

Kesler Tran’s contribution to the issue hits upon the kind of appeal that equates from a formula of effortless styling and knowing sexuality. Cut-off demin, oversized knits and slouchy tees are balanced by nudity and sultry looks for the kind of understated sexiness that begins at home.

The kind of sexy you can throw together in no time, it’s the kind of sexy that works best with just-rolled-out-of-bed hair and minimal makeup. The appeal is in the effortlessness.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
