The words La Dolce Vita are synonymous not just with Italian film, but (courtesy Anita Ekberg) with sensually winged-out eyeliner and bombshell bed hair. The film sat on the cusp of the 1950s and 1960s, and we tend to think a little of both when we look back on the style-defining film. Yie Sandison‘s latest shoot has that romanticism injected into it in a modern way. Makeup by Vic Anderson couldn’t be more perfect for one living the sweet life while Hayley Hughes’ styling has modern day European romance written all over it.
The look was completed by hair stylist Koh Tanyawanichapong. To view the full shoot by Yie Sandison, titled La Dolce Vita, click on the gallery above.
