The vagabond

It’s only a short trip from Sydney’s bustling streets to this rocky shore. The location of Louise Canton’s latest shoot, it could easily be some remote location, far from civilisation. But the rising city towers and curved spine of the harbour bridge in the background of one shot convey the story of The Vagabond as Canton and her team wished to tell it: here is a wandered who wants to be free, but can’t bare the thought of straying too far from city life.

A conflict that exists in many of us, no doubt.
