Tied up with Nicole Trunfio

Update: the full shoot of Nicole Trunfio by Aram Bedrossian can now be found after the jump. Note: NSFW.

Another new magazine. Another highly visual, boundary-blurring, sensual new magazine.

Lovecat is its name, and it’s adding more weight to the argument of the print mag being far from dead. Calling itself a “model fanzine mixing art, music, fashion and sex” Lovecat launches with some impressive names in its first issue.

Nicole Trunfio, photographed by Aram Bedrossian, is one of those names.

As Bedrossian himself explains of the bondage inspired shoot:

I wanted capture Nicole’s true essence and personality.

That said, we chose to forgo a stylist and draped her in her own garb, allowing Nicole’s beauty to serve as the focal point to each photograph.

We’re yet to see Lovecat’s print manifestation yet ourselves, so we can’t bring you any full review until then; but in the meantime you can check out lovecatmagazine.com and of course indulge in more Nicole Trunfio by clicking on the thumbnails.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
