I’ve been starting to wonder whether the trend of nudity in fashion – particularly the highly sexualised kind – has faded almost entirely away… Or is it just that we’re so used to it, we don’t notice it anymore? Odds are it’s a combination. Partly the move from raw, almost pornographic shoots (thank you Terry Richardson and Olivier Zahm) to sensual nudity; and partly a level of desensitisation. In any case this may not be the time or place to discuss it, given this shoot is actually from a book rather than an everyday off-the-shelf fashion mag. Not that we haven’t seen Tiiu Kuik naked in plenty of magazines before.

This rather striking black and white nude shoot of Tiiu is by Daemian Smith & Christine Suarez.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
