Tom Ford‘s ad campaigns are generally outlandish, often controversial, and never short of attention-grabbing. His eyewear ad campaign for Spring / Summer 2010 features Carolyn Murphy (yet another model to jump on the nudity bandwagon) alongside actor Nicholas Hoult, who stars in Ford’s own directorial debut, A Single Man. Hard to believe that Hoult was once the nerdy kid in About A Boy, isn’t it?

Taking on thick 1970′s frames that offer the look of an artistic intelletual isn’t a completely new trend, yet these variations still have their own zest with defining shapes. We’ll be interested to see the rest of the range.
