Skin. It’s both a noun and a verb, sometimes an adjective; it protects us, it beautifies us, it defines us. Our humanity is wrapped up and encased in it, it shields us from the outside world and, more importantly, the outside world from us. Who can know what goes on beneath that protective layer? It hides our thoughts and feelings from eachother, but under it we all have one thing in common: our natural human instincts.

That’s what inspired Tamas Olajos to create this photo series and accompanying video. Agnes Vincze is simply styled in black pieces that hug bare skin. It’s a shoot that captures the body, captures movement, a feeling of the internal struggle of nature and nurture.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
