To use the word ‘obsessed’ in relation to how I feel about Kamilya’s ultra-long hair wouldn’t be too far off the mark. And I’m talking about obsessed in an utterly jealous kind of way. My hair seems to grow far too slowly so right now this is the kind of long hair I can only dream of. While I can manage most of the hairstyles for long hair that are currently on-trend, it’s the ability to have it out and flowing to the waist like an urban Lady Godiva that I’m truly missing.

Beyond that, the combination of forest green and futuristic silver also had me at hello. It’s the kind of combination that almost shouldn’t work – yet does, because it almost shouldn’t. If you get my drift.

That is the power of contrasts. And super-long hair.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
