Clark Kent is to Superman, what thigh high splits are to Versace: you can’t have one without the other. So it seems strange to leave Versace’s Autumn (Fall) / Winter 2010 collection with so few thigh high splits having made an impression. In fact, if anything from this collection does make an impression it is its futuristic infusion; an infusion which, replete with everything from metallic to fringed mini-dresses, doesn’t feel too dissimilar from the future that Barberella imagined for us all those years ago. While Versace’s Autumn 2010 collection isn’t all futuristic, it is all decidedly modern.
