Vintage inspiration: American Girl, 1928

How times change… and yet, somehow they never seem to.

The early issues of The American Girl illustrate this point as much as they illustrate the eras on their covers. With a little pleated skirt and nonchalantly unbuckled boots, this American Girl from 1928 could be walking her dog in snowy Central Park today.
