Our two leading ladies are bored. Or at least, they’re bored at the beginning of Matteo Bertolio’s clear-cut narrative. But if idle hands are the Devil’s plaything, the Internet is the 21st century medium for the message. It’s also stronger than a physical wall at keeping reality at bay. A tryst over wireless, even with someone in the next room, isn’t just more novel, it’s far less concrete. Our protagonists are happy to wake up alone, without the complexity of real togetherness; fun and fantasy the only things playing on their webcams and their minds.
Few photoshoots are so linear in their approach to story. I won’t go describing in detail Bertolio’s cheeky images of the two girls curing their boredom with the help of modern technology. That simply wouldn’t do them justice.
Instead, you can click on the gallery above to view the lengthy tale of lust via laptop as photographed by Matteo Bertolio with models Agnieska Gwara and Lydia Pages.
The shoot appears in issue number 8 of Bambi Magazine which is out now and just as remarkable as always. You can check it out here.
