1970s fashion is indeed one of the greatest influences upon 2011′s fashion trends, but it’s an influence whose full impact won’t be felt across all age groups and genders. Or, at least, it wont’ be felt as overtly as it shall by those in their 20s and 30s. The younger fashioniser, still shy of 18, will encounter the influence but is likely to attribute the style influences to something else altogether: youthful spirits and the return of boho.

It’s that young spirit and bohemian attitude that photographer Leif Huron has captured in his latest contribution to Fashionising.com.

You’ll note though out the picture many of next year’s on trend elements are there, such as the sheer skirt above, but are all styled without an overt 1970s feel to them. For the younger fashioniser this is one of the year’s the look: something less period based, more modern, and more youthful.

Featuring models Caitlin and Jennifer from Red Model Management’s New Face Division and lensed by Leif Huron, whose other work can be perused by following the link, you can see the entire photo shoot by clicking on the thumbnails below.

Late one Oxford night Daniel P Dykes set about creating a fashion publication that would go someway to being an arbiter on fashion as it appeals to the emerging power generations: those who don't remember a world without the Internet and for whom work plays second fiddle to pleasure. And so Fashionising.com was born as a publication for those who were focussed not just on fashion's trends, but on society's too, and how those trends could all go to heighten the art of living. Hence, Daniel sees a future where, for those young at heart, both fashion and style are grounded in traditional quality, but with a youthful, sensualised edge. Daniel is Fashionising.com's Editor in Chief and Chairman.
