After this morning’s announcement about the opening date for Zara in Melbourne we can now also present you with the women’s looks that the store will carry on day one. As with all things Zara, the opening collection takes all its cues from the world’s current fashion trends, making the Northern Hemisphere’s current trends fit the winter season that Australia is currently in.
These range from metallics of silver and gold through to Zara’s interpretation of the motorcycle fashion trend. Key to the opening range, however, are unseasonal winter colours, including pops of reds and bright oranges; while typical spring colours, we do expect them to also be repeated when fall / winter 2011 fashions hit the Northern Hemisphere later the year.
Identifying the city’s penchant for black, Zara have also been keen to stress that their Melbourne store will stock plenty of pieces in the non-colour.
The clothes and accessories featured in this campaign and look book will be stocked in Sydney as of next week and in the Melbourne store thereafter.
